Job Description
The position will be creating character and monster models for internally developed games. The position will need to work closely with other members of the team.
This position is with SUPERTRICK GAMES, Inc., one of GungHo Group companies, responsible for Let it Die and Deathverse! The position is for employment in Tokyo, Japan, and you need to move to Japan before your first day of work. This position can be a full-time or a contract position.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Must be conversational level in Japanese (both written and verbal)
- Must have a portfolio
- 2+ years of character design experience in the same or similar position
- Expert knowledge of most 3D modeling packages are required
- Excellent realistic human modeling skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Passion for games!
Pluses
- Experience creating high fidelity action games is a big plus
- Experience using Substance Painter is a plus
- Experience doing retouching work for PR and Marketing related assets is also great
- Professional Unreal 4 or 5 experience
